- Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic, diaphoretic and alternative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes.
Adults: Take 3 tablespoons of the prepared tea, 3 times daily. The prepared tea can be diluted with an equal amount of hot water prior to consumption. Ensure tea is sufficiently warm for optimal results. Sip slowly. Preferably, take 1/2 an hour before breakfast and lunch, and on an empty stomach before bed.
CAUTIONS: Detoxification reactions include mild headaches, nausea, and flu like symptoms may occur. In such case, reduce initial dose to one tablespoon daily for the first week and gradually increase to the suggested adult dosage thereafter.
THE HERBAL TEA YOU PREPARE MUST BE KEPT REFRIGERATED AT ALL TIMES (DO NOT FREEZE). Tea contains no preservatives. Treat tea in opened containers as a perishable food and use within 21 days. Opened containers of tea that have been unrefrigerated for over 24 hours must be discarded.
