Alaffia works with over 12,000 women in 160 villages across Togo and Northern Ghana. We provide training on how to create independent cooperative, negotiate the best prices, and build a rainy day fund for their village. Collective members can sell nuts to the highest bidder, not just Alaffia. Partnering with women promotes independence and guarantees income is used for food, health care, and education. Our goal is to create stable familites and rebuild the fabric of Central Togo communities.
