Here at Flora, we feel as though we're all one big family. Some of us are new to the company while others have been here for 20+ years. We each bring a unique set of qualities to the company. Therefore, we thought we'd post an employee spotlight from time to time so our subscribers can get to know our employees a little better.

What is Your Role at Flora?: Sharing information on our many wonderful products with staff, customers, and the public. Day to day this means being on the phone, answering emails, writing articles, reviewing and editing marketing materials, updating technical product sheets, creating PowerPoints, doing presentations, etc.
Years with Flora?: 10
What brought you to Flora?: I first learned of Flora while working at Gaia Garden Herbal Dispensary and liked the products and Mission Statement. My background was in herbal medicine, education, and writing so it seemed like a good fit and I was ready for a new challenge.
If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take one Flora product with you, what would it be and why?: Practical Answer: Multi-Vits (US/CA), so that I don't get sick early on from some basic nutrient deficiency. Fun Answer: Enough Salus Red Beet Crystals (US/CA) to make a giant red 'HELP' in the sand.
It's the weekend, what are you most looking forward to?: Free time to do something outdoors (hiking, kayaking, jogging, relaxing at the beach).
If you could have one "super power", what would it be and why?: Flying. Flying would let me visit friends in other cities or distant, exotic locations with ease whenever I felt like it. Besides feeling exhilarating in itself just for the fun of it, I guess I could also manage to rescue some people who'd got themselves stranded on a desert island and run out of multivitamins.
Share something most people don't know about you.: I have a soft spot for computer games.
We all try to eat healthy, but what is your guilty food pleasure?: Beef jerky.
