So why are flax oils so good for you?
Flax oil is one of the richest sources of ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), the omega-3 from which our body makes its derivatives, the long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). For those of us that aren’t biochemists: flax oil develops the acids that your body needs to do everything from grow strong hair and nails to make sure your muscles are developing properly and keep your cognitive function in tip-top shape. Besides making sure that your muscles, brain, and body can do their thing, flax oils also are superheroes when it comes to your gut. However, due to over-processing and other factors, omega-3 is critically lacking from our modern diets. Finally—drum roll please—the essential fatty acids, ALA and LA, (found in Flax Oil) are necessary for the normal functioning of every single cell, tissue, gland, and organ in the body. Like we said: magical.Flax Oil is basically the Wonder Woman of oils.
