As a practical person, I can say that taking 2 scant teaspoons daily (pouring each spoonful slightly below the top, so they have about 4.5 mL) works to both prevent spilling and to allow a 250 mL bottle to conveniently last about 1 month. As a nutritionist, I can share that the fatty acids in pumpkin oil are mostly monounsaturated (like olive oil), with some polyunsaturated (like flax oil). It is generally suggested that monounsaturated fat make up to 20% of daily calories, and polyunsaturated fat to 10% of your total calories. That's 400 and 200 calories each day from those types of fats, for a 2000 calorie diet. 2 teaspoons provides just 83 calories, so there is plenty of space in most people's diets to take more. Many people have this pumpkin oil dosage question after reading an article online, perhaps even on PubMed. Those same articles may offer the guidance you want, because you can try using what they used in the study you read. Studies have seen success with as little as 1/8 teaspoon daily for some applications.
