24-Hour Coconut Yoghurt

Craft your own creamy and tangy 24-Hour Coconut Yoghurt at home, a simple yet rewarding recipe that brings probiotic goodness to your diet. Utilizing the richness of full-fat coconut milk enhanced by Flora probiotics, this yoghurt is not only delicious but supports gut health and well-being. For an optional hint of natural sweetness, add Flora Mānuka Honey. This homemade yoghurt is perfect as a base for breakfasts, snacks, or even dessert toppings, allowing you to incorporate cleanse-supportive ingredients into your daily routine effortlessly.

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz can full fat coconut milk
  • 3 Flora probiotic capsules
  • Optional: 1 tbsp Flora Mānuka Honey

Makes: 2 cups // Time: 24 hours

Method

  1. In a blender or a glass mixing bowl pour coconut milk and honey if desired. Blend or whisk until smooth. Empty probiotic capsules into the coconut milk and stir using a wooden spoon.
  2. Empty into a glass jar and cover with beeswax wrap, cheesecloth or a thin dish towel. The goal is to allow air to flow through. Secure with an elastic band. Keep in a warm place (27-29°C) for 24 hours. Check on the yoghurt by tasting it. It should taste tangy.
  3. Refrigerate for 1 hour to thicken. Keeps well in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Notes

Avoid using metals like brass and aluminum (stainless steel is okay) and plastic bowls or utensils for this recipe as they may react with the probiotics.
