Cultured Stone Fruit Smoothie

This refreshing beverage features a medley of fermented peaches and apricots, adding a summery sweetness alongside beneficial bacteria and minimal sugar. Complemented by creamy coconut yoghurt and a hint of Flora Mānuka Honey, this smoothie provides a deliciously thick and nutritious treat. Blended with stealthy steamed cauliflower for added creaminess and nutrients, this smoothie is a perfect choice for starting your day or enjoying a healthy snack any time.

Serves 2 // Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups assorted fermented peaches and apricots, frozen
  • 2/3 cup steamed, then frozen cauliflower (see notes)
  • 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp honey (or Flora Mānuka Honey)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high.
  2. Depending on how thick you like your smoothie, it’s optional to add 1/4 - 1/2 cup water and continue blending.

Notes

To prepare cauliflower for smoothies, it’s best to chop into florets and steam for 5-7
minutes, or until a fork can pierce through. This breaks down tough starches and aids
in digestion. Then let cool and freeze in a glass container.
