Three Cozy Drinks for the Holidays

High-Protein Eggnog Latte

  • 1 ½ cups hot brewed Flora Rooibos Chai made with 2 bags
  • 3 tbsp vanilla or chai flavored protein powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut cream or heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
Add the brewed chai, protein powder, cream, nutmeg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until well-mixed. Add egg yolk and blend again until fluffy. Sprinkle nutmeg on top and serve. ___________________________________________________________________________

Gingerbread Latte

  • 1 cup hot brewed Flora Double Ginger Tea, made with 2 bags
  • 2 tsp apple pie or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • ¼ cup milk or milk alternative
  • Sweetener to taste
Blend or froth all ingredients for 10 seconds. Sprinkle more spice on top and serve. ___________________________________________________________________________

Mulled Cranberry Tea for 6

Place tea bags in a slow cooker. Bring water to a boil and pour over the tea bags. Add 10 cloves to the pot. Zest one orange into the slow cooker. Juice the orange and add juice to the slow cooker. Slice the second orange into 6 discs, then cut each slice in half to get 12 half-moons. Add orange slices to the crockpot. Replace the lid and serve anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes later, being sure to scoop a couple of orange slices into each mug.
