Delicious Ways to Make ACV Part of Your Daily Wellness Routine

Once a humble pantry staple, apple cider vinegar is suddenly the new “it” ingredient. Celebrities like Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian swear by it, articles about it are popping up everywhere, and people are downing it by the boatload. But while it may be experiencing a surge in popularity, apple cider vinegar isn’t anything new. It’s an age-old food, dating back to the ancient Romans, and people have been drinking up its wellness benefits for decades.

What’s new is that apple cider vinegar now comes in tastier packages. Which is good news… Have you ever tried drinking the stuff straight? Don’t. Just don’t. First, it doesn’t taste good. Second, you can burn your throat and damage your tooth enamel.

So how should you drink apple cider vinegar? Diluted with water or juice is the simple answer, but we’re partial to our Apple Cider Vinegar Wellness Shots. They’re made from a blend of organic apple cider vinegar, organic apple juice concentrate, and organic herbs and botanical ingredients. Here are three delicious ways to make our ACV shots part of your daily wellness routine:

Shoot ‘Em

The simplest way is to drink the shots straight out of the bottle. They’re tasty enough to drink alone, and the 3.3-ounce bottle is the perfect size to tuck into your purse, briefcase, or gym bag.

Add to Drinks

Mix our ACV shots into your favorite beverages. Here are two warm weather drinks we think you’ll love!

Fizzy Apple Cider Vinegar Ginger Lemonade (Serves 1)

Mix one Ginger & Lemon Apple Cider Vinegar Wellness Shot with 1/2 cup seltzer and enough ice to fill a tall glass. Instant fizzy fun!

Apple Cider Vinegar-Berry Smoothies (Serves 2)

Place all ingredients in a blender and let them go for a spin. Garnish with mint.

Add to Food

Use our ACV shots in sweet or savory recipes to add a pop of tangy, vinegar flavor.

Lemon-Ginger Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing with Poppy Seeds

Mix all ingredients. Serve on your favorite greens with blue cheese crumbles and walnuts. Want to make a meal out of it? Pile on the veggies and add seared salmon or baked chicken.

Apple Cider Vinegar-Glazed Beets (Serves 2)

Place all ingredients in a skillet. Add enough hot water to cover. Bring to a boil, then turn down the heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Uncover, turn up the heat, and reduce until the liquid becomes sticky and syrupy, about 15 minutes.

Apple-Cinnamon-Turmeric Italian Ice (Serves 4)

Combine everything except vanilla in a saucepan and let boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until mixture is reduced to 1 ¾ cups, about 15-20 minutes. Cool to room temperature and add vanilla. Pour into ramekins and freeze overnight. Break out the spoons and enjoy your tangy frozen treat!
